Review : etude house fantastic color eyes pallete #rose garden

Today's review will be on my favourite pallete The fantastic color eyes pallete by etude house. If you have been following my blog, you would know that i have made a review also about this pallete but in the Cherry Blossom color. 

Why do i like this pallete so much? Well, i'm such a sucker for a limited edition terms since i missed the halloween special edition palette. He he

But, apparently besides from the limited term, i do love this pallete since it gives a light and warm shadow on my eyes and its very suitable for daily makeup. 

This pallete made of 6 colors. Unlike the cherry blossom, this pallete has no matte eyeshadow. The color consists of julliete, honey bouquet, antique touch, hand tied, vintage rose, and my girl.

The julliete color is actually a shimmering beige that contains a bit of pink. I use it for the base eyeshadow, to help tone down my skin. 

The honey bouquet is a sparkling gold brown. It is the most glittery shade here and the color looks like a liquid dancing honey, ha ha.. It looks like sequin clothes in the pallete. I use this to add more sparkle and glitter on my eyes. But this is not for daily makeup since it is too sparkling.

Next is the antique touch. One thing that i like from etude house is that they are very clever at giving names to their products. This one, do look like an antique touch. It is a vintage deep brown color that has a little shimmering. I use this for the outer part of eyes to give depth to my eyes. 

Handtied is the main attraction in this pallete. Frankly, i've never seen red eyeshadow before. at the first time, this color was my main reason i didn't purchase it. It simply too strong. But when i tried it, it looks so lovely. I didn't know a red eyeshadow could turn out to be so good. It doesn't look too bold on my eyes, but more like a sweet hint of red. And, it is also a perfect color for monolid. My sister has monolid and when i did her makeup yesterday, this eyeshadow highlight the inner part of her eyes so well. But, this color is definetely not for daily makeup unless you dare enough to use it. Ha ha

Next is vintage rose, which is a really beautiful shimmering brown old - rose color. It is one shade deeper than the my girl and definitely an eyeshadow for daily makeup

The last one is the my girl shade. It is a pinky brown color with less shimmering than vintage rose. It definitely pairs with vintage rose. 

All of the colors last pretty long and the price is not that expensive for a very good pallete. I definitely recommend this pallete for everyone. Go buy them quickly since it is a limited edition! Or you will regret it!

Review : Etude House dreaming swan #veiling powder pact

Hi all, few days ago, i promised a review about etude house brand new product which is the dreaming swan line. I purchased 2 items from this line which are the veiling powder pact and the lipstick in shade pk023. The line itself has 5 poducts which are : veiling pact, cheek and eye blusher, highlighter, lipstick and a cute tutu brush.

So, i'll begin with the packaging of the veiling pact powder. This line was created by etude house feat Kerrie Hess an Australian ilustrator who has worked for Chanel, Vogue and net - a - porter. She is also the author illustrator of stylebook shoe string and now she colaborated with etude house to make the dreaming swan line! So i surely bet the design will be great!

The packaging is indeed beautiful, with the sketch of a ballerina. Surely i will not throw away the packaging even after the product has emptied. Isn't that the reason we bought it at the first place? Ha ha

The box of the powder itself is quite big, i thought it will be smaller. The case is made of hard matte plastic which has soft surface and i'm afraid that it can slip out from my grip.

Fortunately, the picture on top of the lid is not a sticker. I saw a blogger giving a glimpse of this product before i have it and she stated that it is a kind of sticker but i found out that it wasn't. It's a printed embossed picture. 

The pact itself come with built in mirror, i'm so happy to see a product that comes with a mirror since it can be handy when traveling. One thing that i admire from this product is the separate lid between the powder and the puff just like in cushion types.

The powder itself has a picture of ballerina shoes carved on it. The color of the powder is not beige like usual but tend to be pinkish shade just like the package. 

 

It claims as a veiling pact that naturally covers dark area and keeps skin smooth and bright all day. It contains white shimmer powder of transparent particles reflects glow to vitalize skin and naturally covers dull skintone with peach color. It can instantly smoothen the skin since it has smoothing powder of tiny and silky texture that filled pores and skin layers. It also has the sebum control and hydrate the skin all day long. Based on my opinion, it does do what it says. I used this as a finisher powder and when i reapplied it, my face stays bright until night. It helps to tone down little greasiness on my face but in the end of the day when i checked on the mirror, i could  see that it transforms into a nice glowing finish. 

Overall, i love this product and despite for it's nice packaging it also has wonderful effect.  

Will i purchase purchase it again? Surely, but sadly yhis product is a limited edition so i can't buy it again hiks hiks.. 

Next, i'll be reviewing about the lippy product. It called dear my blooming lips talk. It's a quite long name for a product but who cares! Haha the packaging adopted the same concept as the old blooming lips talk but with a different bottle color and materials. It is made from matte soft platic rather than the usual pink glossy bottle. The ribbon is also in white color rather than metallic pink. 

Unfortunately, i failed to understand that this is a matte lipstick. I thought it was a glossy lipstick just as the old blooming line. I rarely use matte lipstick and frankly this is my first time purchasing matte lipstick. But, when i tried the color, it was just so pretty. PK023 is a mixture of ponk and orange.. More like salmon color if you understand what i mean. I really love it. It glides on my lips smoothly with satin powdery finish. 

And it's very long lasting too for a lipstick. It fades after 4 hours, leaving a nice pink tint on my lips. The smell is nice, not too overwhelming. But, i have to warn you. Since it is a matte type product, it can accentuate dry and chapped lips (like mine!). So, i suggest you to exfoliate and apply lip balm before it. But overall, i really like this lipstick and i'm gonna purchase another shade as well as the highlighter! Haha..

Review : The Face Shop my lip eats cherry #cherry juice

Hi all, i'm back with a new review. Actually i have written this topic but somehow i forgot to saved it in the draft and when i checked it again, it was missing. My bad.. So well, i need to write it again. 

Last week, i ordered peripera tint water in cherry juice, but the seller at LITTLE DOTS SHOP said it has sold out so she asked me to change my options to buy the face shop or tony moly lip tint in cherry shade. I opted for the face shop one. 

It came pretty fast and as usual i always happy when receiving packages of new cosmetics.

It came without a box, just a simple bottle with the plastic seal all over it. The ingredients and the manufacturing date are all printed on the plastic not on the bottle along with the information of the shade so once you tear the plastic, you can't know what shade it is. Ha ha (why am i laughing about this? Dunno) 

So, the bottle it self is made of trasparent plastic. Very strong and sturdy. Frankly, i do not really like transparent bottle because i don't like to see the amount left. It just ruins the whole concept of always having a full content things. But well, i saw many people complaining about having a non transparent bottle but i'm on the other side, am i?

The design looks mature, unlike the other lip products that i have, the black plastic cap feels a little bit cheap but i won't complain since the price itself is definitely cheap. It was only Rp 60.000 and the amount is quite much. 

One thing i like from this product is the applicator. It has a doe foot shape but slightly slanted at the end and it makes me easier to apply the tint along the cupid bow. It is soft and bend well, unlike the sturdy and non flexible applicator from peripera. 

The smell is just like cherry jam, its so sweet and makes me wanna lick my lip hehe. The tint itself is not very liquid. The name itself is aqua tint, but somehow it looks more like gel type than aqua. And one thing i forgot to mention, the bottle has a stopper on top of the lid. It helps to prevent liquid from coming out and it is very effective in case i drop the bottle and the content will spill out. Thanks face shop!

The color is not as red as the liquid inside the bottle, but it gives a nice cherry red color. The color itself turns glossy upon application but after 10 minutes it will set and stain the lip nicely. 

Another thing i like from this tint is the formula, maybe because its kind of gel type, it moisturize my lip well. It doesn't dry off like the other tint, but it leaves a sticky feeling but not as sticky as lip gloss. And the stickiness can last until 4 hours without re application! 

Unlike the peripera one, the color doesn't sink inside my lip and emphazises dry patches which makes me always lick my lip to keep it hydrate (pardon me..) 

So, overall i love this tint and i don't regret buying it. The only thing missed is the limited color options. It only has 2 color options, the cherry juice and the red juice.

REVIEW : ETUDE HOUSE OH MY EYE LINE #black

I don't Know why do people rave about this eyeliner which is a major fail according to me. 

I bought this last year and it has been with me for such a long time so i can assure you about the content that i'm about to write.

First, i attracted to this product simply because its from etude and last year i was all about etude house. (I still do until now but in more sane degree) the price was considerably cheap. I bought it for Rp 65.000 but you can find it online for Rp 50.000-40.000. 

It's one of my early korean product and that time i was amazed by the shape. It has a long handle with a thin and sharp brush. Perfect for drawing thin line. And the eyeliner liquid was contained in a small curvy pot. The color is matte black.

When i first tested it (pardon me) it looked great. I could draw a thin line on my eyelash and everything seemed to be fine. The color was black enough for my liking. But day by day i started to doubt this eyeliner because it flaked. It was really bad. I used it for two hours and when i checked the mirror, most of the line has gone leaving a hard dotting untidy line along my eye lash line. Yes! The eyeliner was harden.

I still continued to use it because i thought maybe this was just how it worked and my eyelid tends to get oily since i'm using bb cream all over my face.

But, when i bought my nature republic and tried it, i was like oh my God what did i just miss all this time? Oh my eye line was a terrible mistake compare to the nature republic since my nature republic doesn't smear off and flakes away eventhough it is not a waterproof type. 

Next, i'm going to complain about the handle. It's just too long. I can't draw a perfect wing just because the handle block me from the mirror! And for a beginner, i really do not recommend you to try this product because it is just so hard to dry a wing eyeliner with such an inappropiate handle design. I stopped using this product a while ago but few days ago i tried it again because i wanted to make this review. And my hand started to shake (truly!) i'm not used to it anymore and that caused my hand to shake. 

And since then i never use it anymore. And this is not my opinion only. When i asked a makeup artist to do my makeup last year, i saw this product on her beauty case and i asked her wether it was good or not and she said it was terrible, (see! it's not my opinion only) she bought it out of curiosity and she never used it anymore. 

I love etude house but this product is a major fail. And actually, the price is not that cheap. I can find maybelline eyeliner for only Rp 17.000 and works great as well.

2. Cute design

Con :

1. Flakes off

2. The handle is too long

3. Not long lasting

4. A big no no for makeup beginner

Review ETude house dear my wish lips talk #pk003

It's been a while since my last post. Buat today i sound like to give a review about Etude house dear my wish lips talk featuring CHrystal from f(x) member. 

If i have to be honest, i interested in this product because of the advertisement campaign of her. She looks so lovely wearing this lipstick and the fact that this lipstick also appears in chrystal's movie makes Me so produk to have it. (Don't you?) 

So back to the product, it's my first experience with etude house lipstick. And the performance is just really great. 

It slides on my lips smoothly and the color is super pigmented. I Bogor the pk003 because i have a blazer with the same fuschia color and it just match with my outfit. 

It has creamy texture and sometimes it is hard to handle due to it's pigmented and creamy texture. But you can always swipe the excessive product with cotton bud right?

The price is considered cheap. I Bought it for Rp 120.000

So, Will i put purchase it again? Definetely yes!
